RISE Social Enterprise Training Courses Project

Co-operative Futures is one of the deliverers of the RISE Social Enterprise training courses.

RISE has developed two training programmes to raise the quality of the advice offered by business advisors, information staff and other partners. Both of the training programmes have been mapped against the new standards for social enterprise advice (developed nationally by SFEDI and the Social Enterprise Coalition) and have successfully achieved accreditation against these standards. The two programmes are:

Introducing Social Enterprise - is a one-day course that gives participants a good general underpinning knowledge and understanding of the issues involved in social enterprise development. This course is designed for those who provide basic initial information to potential social enterprises and then signpost to a specialist business advisor.
Professional Development for Social Enterprise Advisors - a three-day course that covers all the aspects of social enterprise development that a specialist business advisor needs to know. This is designed for these business advisors themselves.
